Mr. Hyde Concepts

For Illustrator's Heritage, we're going to be creating a black and white linear illustration for either Dracula or the Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. I've picked the latter tale, and although I'm not really thinking in terms of setting yet, these are two sketches of Mr. Hyde. The top is a Kevin O'Neill influenced crazed zombie-ape-man type, while the bottom is a horrible scientific experiment gone wrong in the form of a featureless killing machine a-la McFarlane's Creech.

These are sick. You gotta do the first one though. The pose is just so demented and dynamic.

Wow. Those are awesome. I really like the second one, the pose is regal but disturbed.
